Had a great experience here. My sister and I went in to enjoy some quality tea and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere—very zen, unique, artistic. It’s well curated. We inquired about the tea menu and the staff took the time to explain the various tea varieties and options. We selected a tea from a 100+ year old tea tree. We carried the expectation that we’d get a sampling of teas based on our experience of other tea shops, but only had a single tea here which we still really enjoyed. While some of the teas are pricey, the prices are listed so not sure why people are upset by it.

I stumbled upon this place while walking with my friend and decided to go in. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we tried to take a photo, the staff (presumably the owner) was unnecessarily rude about it. There wasn’t even a sign indicating that photos weren’t allowed, which left us confused. As newcomers, we received no explanation about the place, and the attitude made us feel unwelcome- it was an unpleasant experience. And we thought downstairs looked like a cafe, and since others were exploring, we tried to go down as well. However, the staff repeatedly said, ‘Not at the moment,’ without providing any clear explanation. This lack of communication felt dismissive and unprofessional. If they had kindly mentioned something like a reservation policy, we would’ve understood.

From other reviews, it seems customer service issues are a recurring problem. They claim it’s about ‘respecting the space,’ but I believe reflecting on their own attitude would be more effective:) As for their so-called ‘royal and regular customers,’ it’s hard to imagine there are many. With such an unwelcoming approach, it’s no surprise that others would feel reluctant to return. I certainly won’t.

I was really excited to check out this tea shop as I’d grown up drinking tea with my dad but my experience was disappointing. Immediately when I walked in, the owner said no drinks were allowed inside. I explained the cup was empty and asked if I could throw it away. He pointed to a trash can across the street and told me to throw it away outside with a condescending attitude (it was also 30 degrees outside but I obliged anyways). Once I was inside, I felt his eyes monitoring my every move which made me feel too uncomfortable to even touch anything and I left promptly.

I felt extremely unwelcome, judged and embarrassed. The interior was really beautiful and calming, but I wish that could’ve translated to a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.

Was looking forward to going to this shop and really wanted to have a good experience. I’ve been wanting to try getting into specialty tea and was excited to check out the store. Immediately was met with rude and unhelpful staff. The answers I got were short and condescending and killed any interest I had in starting my tea journey at this shop in particular. The friends that I was with were also scolded for taking picture despite no signs or indication that wasn’t allowed. My complaint is directed directly at the older gentleman in the glasses. If you are reading this, respectfully, you should not be working in retail or customer service. The shop was beautiful and had so much going for it otherwise.

When you meet a tea person with loads of passion and love for tea you feel it. I feel it ever so strong here.

Even though I didn’t get to book the tea tasting experience this time, the atmosphere and expertise from the shop and staff are truly amazing. I booked another tasting session and ended up buying a bunch of different Puerh. Great recommendation and I will definitely recommend this shop to any tea lovers!

This is a lovely shop that is very well curated. The owner is very nice and let me stare at the small teapots for over 30 minutes while I tried to decide which one I wanted. I think the feedback about the lack service is completely undeserving based on my own experience. This is not a cafe for working at a laptop and you should respect the space when you go inside because many things are fragile and delicate. I think if you respect the space you will find it very welcoming.

A quiet shop that actually has the most amazing teas and instruments for enjoying said tea. From green, white, black, and beyond they have various strains as well as blends they pre-package for a few reasons. I specifically got the purifying one that should help me with my seasonal allergies.

This shop also has specific options I’ve only found online or from friends who have traveled so it was so nice to see the fun teas and instruments they have to serve tea.

There is also a tea room and a few natural hand dyed clothing and home products.

Definitely worth a visit and chat if you’re curious or looking to get more into tea.
