It’s a really nice store with a big variety of toys, books, for all ages, from baby to older kids. The toys are very good quality. They playroom is also very nice, a nice play to meet other parents with kids in the same age group.

Monti's World in Amsterdam has an enchanting selection of Montessori toys, books, and cute gifts for babies,toddlers and kids, wooden toys, books, there’s so much to explore. The playroom is a fantastic adventure and definitely worth booking in advance! Parents can relax with coffee and when we visited there were snacks for the little ones, this while swapping tips with other parents and kids play with the nice selectionof toys ans with other kids. Plus, the clean and comfy diaper-changing room makes everything so easy. It’s the perfect spot for fun.

Monti's World is an absolute gem in Amsterdam! It’s a toy shop, a meeting place offering different activities all in one!
The range of Montessori toys, books and educational items is truly impressive, and there's always something new to discover. The playroom is an adventurous and engaging space for little ones, where they can explore freely and enjoy hands-on learning. Great that the owners encourage the idea of recycling toys!
The various events are fantastic opportunities for little ones to experience new things and for parents to connect with other parents. It's such a warm and welcoming place—we always look forward to coming back!

Monti's World is an absolute gem! On a regular basis, my mom friends and I book the playroom for our get-togethers, and it’s the perfect spot where our kids can play freely while we catch up and chat. The space is clean, safe, and relaxing, making it a stress-free experience for everyone. The owner and the entire team are incredibly welcoming, always ensuring we have everything we need for a great visit. It’s a fantastic community hub, and we always look forward to coming back!

We are so happy to have found this place! We came to Amsterdam for a business meeting and this place was recommended to us to buy materials for our Montessori Center. It is the first time we have seen a shop that offers (Montessori) pedagogical materials and also offers a playroom where children to try out the materials while parents enjoy a good conversation over coffee (which needs to be booked) - what an amazing concept!
We are so grateful to have purchased a beautiful selection of materials, but also delighted to take with us the great memory of meeting the owners of this shop (Talida and her husband), who welcomed us so kindly!
We can't wait to visit them again, thank you!?

Beautiful store with great selection of even more beautiful toys. We especially love the fact that we can resell most of the toys back when our son has outgrown them and contribute towards circular economy. The playroom and other meetups and events are a fantastic opportunity for our baby to experience new things and for mama to meet other mamas.

We saw it on Instagram and wanted to go immediately to check it out and buy a birthday gift. Our son (2 years) saw the ‘play area’ where you can try the toys out and became so enthusiastic. When he took his shoes off and was playing with his first puzzle the guy behind the desk came and told us he needed to leave. Apparently you need TO BOOK the area where you can try the toys out before you buy them. €16 for one parent and one child. There was nobody else in the store, no children and instead of asking us if we wanted to book he immediately said ‘you need to book this so he needs to go out’. A typical expat store where they ask money for everything and use the name Montessori not in the right way besides a marketing trick. The store looks nice, the toys as well. It’s a shame we had this experience and didn’t feel welcome at all. The concept of Montessori, which is to play and learn, is misunderstood here.
