I went to Game Core decently late and i didn’t know exactly what I was going to get I just wanted singles for Pokemon, The employee was extremely nice and they were patient while I looked at all the cards and even while they were helping someone else when they had time they would ask if I needed any help.

Great place. Lots of fun. They have different tournaments each day and a calendar. Old and collectable games. They have collections of different cards if you’re looking for something specific. They know the price of things. Love most of the employees. Only one that I feel is a little jagged. I don’t know his life or story, but it feel like he just wants you to get out as quick as possible. Only complaint. But I’m sure he’s fine.

Brandon was super helpful and taught me more about playing pokémon cards. i came in looking to modify a deck and he gave really good advice. overall 10/10 experience!

I stumbled upon this shop rather unexpectedly -- and boy am I glad I did!

Since moving, I've been without my regular tabletop game supplier (I'm a D&D player & DM). That is, until today! On top of their wide selection of books/dice/minis/cards, excellent decor, and friendly & informative staff, they also sell classic video games and consoles. I'm talking NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Playstation (1)... And since I'm a collector of old games, I guarantee this will be my one-stop shop for (old) video games and tabletop games.

I'm already planning on having my friends come stay with me just so we can shop here a while!

Game Qore - A small, rustic gem in the center of old Visalia

I have visited Game Qore many times over the last decade as I work in cities nearby. Upon first entry, you will learn one thing - the staff is there to help you! I personally play Magic the Gathering and love that, if you come in with a list of cards you want, the friendly staff will look those cards up and help you find them - from Bulk to Mythic!

I have visited dozens of game stores accross the country. Many fail to maintain a reasonable collection, a clean environment, and friendly staff. To this extent, Game Qore has you solid, trying to equally support all card games and TTRPGs while keeping things clean and organized.

While it looks like the store is on the cusp of making some big changes to help their community, I have no doubt they will continue to supply guests with a relaxing environment to play and collect MtG. All the more important for people like myself who only have a few days a month to take a Ranger break and visit their local game store.
