They charged me all of pandemic and refuse to help me with a payment plan. My bill is over 4000 dollars and they’re the cause of my grandmothers death due to them turning off the power when I couldn’t pay and she couldn’t do her breathing treatments. Horrible people horrible establishment and horrible lack of compassion

My power was shut off on 07/17, I called down to the office they said they generated a shut off notice on 06/26. I told them I never received any notice and was informed that it might have been placed on someone else’s door. There was nothing they can do!! I can understand if I was notified that my bill was delinquent but I wasn’t. On top of that they charged me $300 and something for my electric bill when I didn’t even use my a/c as too why my bill is delinquent. I was told there was nothing they can do about it. I would have to contact my apartment manager to have my electricity looked at.

Your system is outdated. It's hard to get someone on the phone & unless you have your account number, you can't pay your bill online. It's the first time I've ever encountered this.

Unfortunately staff seems to beat around the bush in not knowing or helping out.
City Hall sent us to Public Utilities for our address situation and Public Utilities didn’t help.
Right now, another instance is…we called to connect electricity on a vacant place. Utilities said to go with paper work stating we’re the owners. We go in. They said collections is closed. (Prior tenant has a due amount and we need to be cleared from collections stating it’s not us with the due amount.) So staff in the building said to call again and since I have an account with Utilities, I would have my electricity in my vacant place activated “in no time”. I give a call and nope, collections needs to clear us. So just going around in circles again. We’re trying to activate electricity on a vacant place that is being remodeled. Sighhhhh ? Just sharing it’s not unusual but be patient and it will get done ?

These guys are awesome! No, I dont work for them or know anybody down there but these people have always come within 24 hours or an hour if it is an emergency. They are always friendly and take care of everything quickly. I just appreciate every service they have given us. I am pro city! I have never had a bad person or bad service and I have used them several times. Maybe we are lucky but right now I am just amazed by their representation. Keep up the good work!

I paid a $75 same day reconnection fee for my electric to be turned on (that wasn’t supposed to turned off anyway) and they never returned to turn it back on. I have a toddler in my home and we were left without electricity for the entire day. Everything in my fridge had to go into the garbage. I am so upset I can’t even see straight.
