I purchased the Can-Am Maverick 9 months ago (in Dec 2023). My kid just turned 3 and I wanted to start teaching her how to drive only to realize the steering wheel wasn’t controlling the wheels. Come to find out the wire in the steering wheel got ripped in half. I paid $40 for a new steering wheel and within 10 min it was ripped in half again. There is no stop on the rotation of the steering wheel so a child can easily over turn and rip it. I’ve had the speaker go out already and it’s starting to sound like the motor in one of the wheels is going out. This car is driven maybe 2-3 times a month and is stored in a garage. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE. The product is very cheaply made and the warranty is so short that you end up getting screwed. Don’t waste your money on this company.

Short story - Some of the negative reviews here may in fact be legitimate. If your car arrives complete, as designed, and without defect from arrival through the warranty period you're set! However have issues, need parts, or want support to be supportive and understanding, yea you may be disappointed with exuberant delays. I did finally receive notice the parts have been sent 11/15/24, but as to how the warranty and future support goes who knows - Seems from reviews here and elsewhere the owner may be the nice, understanding one of the bunch, "C" and "A" representatives not so much!

Now for the long review and get all those good details! - Where to begin. First off I bought the toy car for my son's birthday and bought it over a month in advance. Is the car today, nearly a month later, complete as a buyer would expect? No. At first I thought there was an issue with the motors sent since they were both the same unlike videos and parts suppliers, and the fact one motor you would have to force into position which didn't seem right and something I wasn't willing to try. Lucky me it was just disformed plastic and missing scews in the body hindering motor installation. After a trip to the hardware store (buy screws, box cutter, and shears) I was able to get the motor into place, for the most part. Weird noise coming from one motor in a bind/rotation test, but it's "normal" so the seller says - we shall see if it survives use. Sad part is after three (3) weeks of sparse communication it wasn't until I filed a claim with PayPal that someone with knowledge advised me of the aforementioned "fixes" for all the issues. However one issue still remains unresolved: two out of four (2/4) of the rims are deformed and the small head scews designed for the rims, that work on the other two rims, do not allow installation. The fix for this? I need new rims as drilling out the holes/material is not a fix as it would make the plastic too thin to hold integrity. Have I received help getting the rims from the seller? No. Instead I got an email from the seller simply stating I must drop my PayPal claim/case, the number one reason I actually got real help from the seller in the first place - And the email was really rather offensive and in DIRECT violation of PayPal policies. Instead of willing to send me a MANUFACTURER WARRANTIED item do you want to know what the seller instead decided with PayPal? Ask for me as the buyer to pay return shipping (which is estimated around $150-200) at MY SOLE EXPENSE as the buyer to only then receive a refund for ONLY the amount I paid for the car. Pretty shady huh? I decided last night to drop the PayPal case/claim on good faith that the seller would hold up their end and in fact contact me, without delay unlike the weeks I waited before, and send the parts - I mean they already apologized via email about the delays in receiving assistance (parts as promised and other support completing the build) and seemed stunned like I of how far everything got (whew, maybe things will go better now!). But alas, what have I received thus far? No contact from the seller, notification of parts sent, etc... Absolutely nothing. I paid a premium over other websites that sell the same product as the seller, but I chose this particular seller as they're supposed to be reputable and top notch - I typically have faith when the reviews are substantially positive. Instead the support representative ("C") was not knowledgeable in the product they sell, which another representative or manager ("A") apologized for, and contact was less than responsive requiring me to call in weekly and do follow-ups. The buck was passed onto the distributor, someone I as the buyer cannot directly contact, for all parts requests.

Photos attached to this review - Hopefully the photos are self explanatory. Screw that won't go into the rim channel, body deformed prohibiting motor installation, rear axle not protruding enough with motor bound, like for like motor housings that differ from parts dealers but evidently ok (just more of an informative photo).

We purchased 2 toys in Oct. One 4x4 costing $699 and the small toy $599. The bigger toy has given us 3 separate motor issues. We have received 2 replacements within that timeframe and now another motor is bringing to make the popping sounds the last 2 made. Sad as this seems like a fun toy yet doesn’t last long. Our son only rides it on the sidewalk and road. Company has been great sending replacement parts but so far it hasn’t held up to the price..

Absolute worst company!! We purchased the ATV about 2 years ago, for my 3 year old son.
It had a motor go out not even 6 months in, they replaced it. Then about another 6 months go by and a gear smells like it’s burning!! Now we have to buy 4 new gears to be safe! We paid close to $900 for this damn ATV! It’s no better than one you can buy at Walmart!!!!! I can’t get ahold of the parts company, it’s just a big hassle and we are out a lot of money & my son has a buggy he can’t drive now!!! I wouldn’t advise buying one from this company at all!!!! We have never took it in the mud, it’s been stored in our garage. Very disappointed!!!

Update: the retailer reached out to us to try and offer a solution. Helping to cover the cost of the replacement gearboxes is much appreciated and a sign of great customer service.

My 2 and 5 yr old had lots of fun on a 24 v can-am maverick ride-on, for a very short time. We purchased this with the hope of getting a few years out of it.... We got a few months out of it. Purchased last December as a Christmas gift, the ride on was unused until April due to snowy weather. We literally got about 5 months and I've now spent $80 to replace both gearboxes. Out of pocket costs since it was past the 6 month warranty That doesn't count the additional cost of a new charger cord that also was replaced within a couple months which isnt included in the warranty. For almost $700 you'd think you wouldn't be spending $100 more within the first year. Very, very disappointing product life! Overall good customer service tech help but that only goes so far when the product craps out so quickly.

We bought the XL 24 V Challenger for our children as a Christmas gift. Initially, everything worked perfectly, and our kids were thrilled with their new vehicle. However, within six months, three of the car’s wheel motors started malfunctioning. We contacted the company regarding these issues but the warranty was just a few weeks over.

I was just disappointed it broke so quickly and I had to wait for the parts they recommended to come back in stock. The car was sitting in my garage for two months after it broke. It’s a wonderful car but just know, it may not last incredibly long before needing a new part. They recommended parts to order and we were able to order the parts and fix the vehicle once they were back in stock.

We are still happy we ordered here and they responded to our issues quickly but they unfortunately couldn’t do anything for us because the warranty just expired.

The company responded to my review that I was “fake” and not a real customer but I certainly am real and a true buyer of the product.

We bought Lexus 570 from Big Toys Green County 4 years ago, and it's been a great purchase for our kids. Recently, a part broke, but Anthony from their team was incredibly helpful. He quickly diagnosed the issue, sent me a link to the replacement part, and now I'm just waiting for it to arrive.
Thanks to Big Toys Green County's excellent customer service, my kids will continue to enjoy this car for many years to come.
