I’m thrilled that Colorado Springs finally has an indoor RC track! After a 10-year break from RC racing, it’s amazing to be back in the hobby. Matt was incredibly helpful in getting me set up with the right kit, electronics, and parts. He took the time to walk me through the different classes and options available. His outstanding customer service made the entire buying experience seamless.

Nice hobby store. A vast selection of hobby related stuff can be found here. The prices are not that overpriced either. The staff are friendly and will help you find whatever you're looking for. They even have a tiny selection of tcg cards.

I have been coming in there for over 20 years. I love there new place I walked in excited to see all the cool things in there. The guy behind the counter was real short with me. I noticed there really nice track they have in there now. When I asked the guy behind the counter about it he shruugged his shoulders and ask me if I was done. I paid for my items and left thinking they really don't care. I like to support local business but not this time. If they don't care why should I. Most things I find online cheaper and free shipping anyway. Hopefully they take reviews seriously and change there ways.

Stopped by this location and was very disapointed with the model trains selection… There were 3-4 boxes of track, a few HO rolling stock kits (they looked 30+ years old), some scenery, and one lone Lionel boxcar for $80…. Saddest train selection I’ve ever seen in a hobby town. And not once did someone ask me to help find anything.

The R/C track is pretty cool though.

This place has it all. The RC car selection like Traxxas will Blow your mind. The staff is knowledgeable about products and parts. Just found out they have mini Z cars on Thursdays. What ever your hobby is. These guys have it and are into it too.

Horrible customer service. Stopped to grab a car and each of the three workers at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me for over 5 minutes. Ended up leaving without a single word said to me. I’ll be buying everything from an online store now and definitely not hobby town. Congrats on sucking at life

I’m writing a completely honest review from my personal experiences at this hobby town. I’ve been quite a few times. (Sadly) with this being the only hobby/rc store in the springs. You would expect them to have a decent variety of parts and knowledge. But no. Basically if you aren’t going to this store to buy a $500+ truck or car. They simply don’t care. Every time I call the store and ask for parts, they claim they don’t have them. But then I show up in person and it’s right there. This store is a nightmare. The employees don’t know much about these rc cars. And it’s the ONLY PLACE WE HAVE IN THE SPRINGS. I hate to say it but it’s 100% worth the drive to Denver hobbytown! Westmeinster specifically

One of the guys here was pretty rude over the phone. I called to ask if they had a certain Gunpla kit in stock. I gave him the name of the kit and where it would be on the aisle if they still had it. In response, he got all indignant and said "Are you really asking me to look through the thousand models that we have?"
(A thousand? Really bro?)
Other places like Hobby Lobby or Gamers Haven don't jump down your throat just for asking about a specific product. From now on I'll either go to one of those stores or just buy online.

I usually enjoy shopping at other HobbyTown locations, but the folks at this store have a serious attitude problem. Would not recommend.
