If you need a gift this holiday season this is the place to bring back the fun! I came in looking for fun white elephant gifts and the owner Stephen was so helpful, kind, suggestive, understanding and just plain nice. I’m not a “gamer” and stores like this scare me because I often feel judged because I don’t know how to play games past uno and monopoly. Stephen made me feel so welcomed i kept buying more. I will definitely be back.

This is my go to shop in my neighborhood and is a hidden gem! They always have all the great TCGs you could want and for the best prices, and awesome games for family game night! Stephen is such a great store owner as well and takes care of his customers! If you are ever strolling Bishop Arts or in need of a game for game night, definitely stop by House Rules!

great selection of games in a cute area! definitely wish i wasn’t just passing through so we could do some of their game nights as well (for magic at least). dude who was manning the store was super cool and much appreciated, lots of great recommendations. i loved that they had options for all skill levels and interests, as well as newer games and local options as well. ended up finding a great pre-con for magic that actually makes me really excited to play, and a book for a ttrpg that my family is actually interested in playing with me. great stuff!!

This was such a fun stop in the Bishop Arts District. Impressive selection available - my sister even snagged the last Wingspan box they had. The owner was fun to chat with as well and he was very knowledgeable about any game that we asked about. Definitely visit here if you are in need of a new board game!

Best game shop I’ve been to! The owner Stephen is super friendly and helpful. He’s given me a lot of recommendations and so far my boyfriend and friends have loved every game I’ve bought whether big or small. He also gets a lot of kickstarter games that you wouldn’t be able to buy normally.

Not sure of his name but the tall man with brown hair working here was one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. He had great recommendations for all the game styles we wanted. Amazing, big selection in the store!! They also had cute merch 🙂 highly recommend!!
